Gail’s Story.
Hello, I’m Gail — a specialised flower farmer and certified Horticulture Therapist.
My path to floriculture hasn’t been straightforward. For many years I worked in corporate roles while tending flowers part-time on our land in Bells Creek, Sunshine Coast.
In 2020, I begun to farm full-time, immersing myself in all aspects of growing. By 2023, I returned to an off-farm role, balancing flexible work with my passion for flowers.
Today, I farm part-time while continuing to learn, research, and experiment. My goal is to enrich the soil, ourselves, and our community through restorative and sustainable agricultural practices.
I believe in lifelong learning. Whether through books, podcasts, or connecting with fellow growers. You’ll find some of my favourite recommendations on the Resource page link below.
My aim is to help beginners and budding growers avoid common mistakes by teaching practical, proven techniques that truly work. If you would like to attend a flower growing course, please send me a message via ‘Contact Us’
I believe in community.
I contribute to our local community as a volunteer garden educator at our local Community Kindergarten - encouraging the children to learn new skills, have fun, play and develop self confidence by spending time in the garden, tending plants and growing their own food.
